In the frozen wilds of the Taiga, the most feared creature is blind. One eye was taken by a whip, the other branded with the mark of the sickle and hammer. The Amur Tiger prowls with the aid of his cunning raven companion. When the Tiger is drawn into a savage conflict between the Tribe of the Wolf and the Clan of the Boar, the buried horrors of his past in a Gulag prison camp resurface. As wolves, boars, and other beasts fight for dominance, the Tiger, scarred by violence but unmatched in power, becomes the tipping point that will decide the fate of the entire forest.
